Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson is still recovering from the ACL injury he suffered in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. According to reports, he's not expected to return until late February or March next year.

That seems to be his plan as well.

In an interview with Arash Markazi of the L.A. Times, Thompson said he expects to return next season, and he plans to come back better than ever.

“I feel good. I’m going to come back 110%.”

Klay Thompson recently had a successful surgery done at the Kerlan Jobe Institute in Los Angeles. He said he doesn't expect to return before the All-Star break, but he's expecting to play in time for the playoffs.

The Warriors have lost several key players from last season's roster. Kevin Durant went to the Brooklyn Nets, Andre Iguodala was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies, Jordan Bell signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Quinn Cook joined the Los Angeles Lakers. The Dubs are not seen as favorites to win the NBA championship next season, but for Thompson and the rest of the guys who have led them to the Finals in five straight years, they can still compete at an elite level.

The rest of the league's contenders have bolstered their rosters in an attempt to dominate in the same fashion as the Warriors. But the team that has won three titles in five seasons has no plans to fade into the sunset. The Dubs believe they have what it takes to win, and Thompson will make sure that he does everything he can to help.
