Golden State Warriors veteran point guard Shaun Livingston is expecting fans at Oracle Arena to give new signing Andrew Bogut a grand reception upon making his home debut on Thursday against the Indiana Pacers.

“Definitely. He should get a standing O,” said Livingston. “He's laid the foundation, he's part of the foundation that was laid in order to get to that (first) championship, to get that championship here. It should definitely be a warm welcome from the Bay.”

Bogut is beloved at Oracle Arena and many fans even protested the decision to trade him to the Dallas Mavericks, much like Monta Ellis' trade to the Milwaukee Bucks once was protested as well, even though championships cure much of that angst.

Livingston admitted to having deja vu upon his first game with Bogut back in the lineup, from hearing his voice and loud Australian accent to seeing his nifty maneuvers during the game that reminded him of their previous years together.

“It was good to see him,” said Livingston. “Good to see the fam back.”

The Warriors' reserve said he kept in contact with Bogut throughout the years, making this an easy and rather comfortable transition to pick right where they left off as teammates.

In two games back with the Warriors, Bogut has put up 4.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in 16 minutes per game after solving some visa issues to return to the States.
