After an awful Game 5 from him, many fans expected Stephen Curry to bounce back in Game 6 of the Finals. After all, the Golden State Warriors star rarely has two consecutive bad shooting nights. Curry would then proceed to shoot the lights out in Game 6, putting on a clinic against the vaunted Celtics D.

During the third quarter of the game, Stephen Curry hit a pair of classic Steph shots from the outside. After the second three, the Warriors star gestured to his ring finger in front of the Celtics crowd: indicating that he wants that fourth ring badly. (via ClutchPoints)

The Warriors have been resurgent during the 2022 season. With their core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green finally being healthy again, the Dubs became contenders once again. Flanked with an unlikely supporting cast, this team rolled their way into the NBA Finals for the first time since 2019.

Key to their success, as always, is Stephen Curry. The Warriors star has been lights-out for the team for the most part, blending his scoring gravity with his playmaking to great effect. It's because of him that the Dubs are one win away from capturing their fourth title since 2015.

A Warriors championship will also likely mean that Curry will grab his first Finals MVP trophy in his career. The impact of winning that trophy is debatable, at the very least. However, it would certainly make his already-strong case as a top-10 player even stronger. He's been the best player on this Finals series so far.
