No need for the broom now. The Denver Nuggets avoided a first-round sweep in the NBA Playoffs after beating the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, 126-121.

It was a tight game all throughout, with the Warriors outscoring the Nuggets in the fourth quarter. But Nikola Jokic and company did enough to hold on to the victory.

Stephen Curry once again came off the bench for the Warriors and finished with a team-high 33 points. He, however, only shot 10-of-23 from the field, including 3-of-11 from beyond the arc. He also missed four free throws for the first time in his career. After the game, he gave a sarcastic remark about it, per the report of ESPN.

“It's the worst feeling in the world, missed free throws. It's what I do really well.”

It was indeed uncharacteristic for Curry to miss from the charity stripe, as he's a 90% career free throw shooter. He averaged 92.3% in the regular season. But his stroke shouldn't be a major cause for concern for the Warriors. Instead, they should focus on stymying Jokic's support crew.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr also said they will focus on heading home to close it out in front of their raucous fans at Chase Center on Wednesday. That's something the team does very well.
