Stephen Curry is often the voice of reason when the Golden State Warriors are dealing with issues. However, the Warriors superstar was helpless when teammates Kevin Durant and Draymond Green had a very public altercation after a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Curry was injured at the time the team began to go into a spiral. While he worked to get back from a groin injury in Oakland, he was out of the loop on what occurred between Green and Durant. Curry felt odd about being so helpless in the situation, telling ESPN's Nick Friedell:

“It was weird. It was like I was getting everything secondhand in terms of what was going on and how people were responding to it, and trying to put together a game plan on how I could insert myself into the aftermath. [It was a] sucky feeling in terms of not feeling like I could have helped out.”

Curry is used to being firmly in control of all things Warriors, so it must have been especially difficult for him to be helpless during the breakdown.

In the end, Curry was able to help Green and Durant work things out. According to Green, all hostilities between him and Durant are in the past, and the team is now free to focus on the ultimate goal: winning another championship.

If Stephen Curry remains healthy and the team really has banded together, the Warriors will remain the favorite to win it all again.
