For top athletes like Stephen Curry, winning is the most important part of their lives. But in a recent post, the Golden State Warriors star dismissed such belief. Well, sort of.

For the three-time NBA champion, there's one thing better than winning: Winning on his birthday while celebrating with his family. Getting a victory seems trivial in comparison to holding his son after a long day, as Curry happily posed for a photo with their son, Canon.

Curry,  who's having another stellar campaign, celebrated his 33rd birthday with a decisive 131-119 victory over the Utah Jazz. The two-time MVP finished with a game-high 32 points on 10-of-20 shooting from the field, including an impressive 6-of-9 from long distance. He also had five rebounds and nine assists. The Warriors pretty much dominated the Jazz from the get-go and coach Steve Kerr liked his team's effort to finally snap their four-game skid (via ESPN).

“We wanted to be the aggressor the entire night. I think when you do that you have a better chance of establishing a front, kind of a wall, a mentality, who you’re going to be. That’s how you win games, how you dig out of a four-game losing streak, with your defense.”

Perhaps this is one of the reasons for Stephen Curry's rise to fame. Not only is he considered one of the greatest to ever play, but outside the court, he's one heck of a human being too. Basketball is his passion. But it's his family who drives him to be the best that he could be.
