Sunday afternoon, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors played the Los Angeles Clippers. They won that match 105-90 and did it in style as usual. Led by Curry, the Warriors put the game out of reach in the fourth quarter. The two-time MVP received a technical after confronting an official about not getting a foul call, and the rest was history.
Near the midway mark in the fourth quarter, the Warriors led the Clippers 79-70 when the technical occurred. Not long after, Curry knocked down three triples in three possessions forcing the Clippers to call timeout. The final three was an incredible shot, and Jordan Poole got a heads up that it was going to happen.
“Draymond said he was about to shoot it, and he shot it, as simple as that, and it went in. Hell of a shot, but it's Steph, and it was a huge shot,” Poole told ClutchPoints.
It's nothing Curry can do to surprise his teammates, but he always figures out a way to impress them. The way he closed this game was another one of many moments where he has shown that. Curry's offensive brilliance is unmatched by any player in the NBA right now, and the league gets a reminder nightly.
