The Golden State Warriors may have the worst record in the NBA, but that hasn't stopped Steve Kerr from displaying his trademark wit.

As Stephen Curry prepares for his return against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night, Kerr had the perfect joke for the situation. In front of a packed media crowd, the Warriors' head coach remarked that people are jumping back on the “bandwagon.”

Curry has played in only four games this season due to a broken left hand suffered back in October. The injury occurred as Curry attempted to take a charge from the Phoenix Suns' Aron Baynes.

The two-time MVP's absence along with Klay Thompson's season-long injury has been a disaster for the Warriors. The defending Western Conference champions have won just 14 games this season, by far the lowest total in the NBA. For those that have forgotten, Golden State had advanced to the Finals in five consecutive seasons and won three of them.

It's only fitting that Curry's return is against the team that defeated the Warriors in last year's NBA Finals. Although the Raptors don't have Kawhi Leonard anymore, they're still one of the elite teams in the East. Entering Thursday's matchup, Toronto has a record of 43-18 — the second-best mark in the Eastern Conference.

We'll see if Curry can give the Warriors much-needed jolt as they play out the last month of the regular season.
