San Francisco, CA – A ton of news surfaced for the Golden State Warriors on Thursday. Two-time MVP Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins were named All-Star starters, and then there was another surprising update that was reported. TNT announced it reached an agreement with Draymond Green to join Turner Sports. He is the first active player to sign this kind of multi-year deal.

Steve Kerr worked with TNT for years before coaching the Warriors, and when asked if he had any advice for Green, he gave a perfect reply.

“Only words of wisdom is when he’s analyzing the Warriors, not to bash his coach,” Kerr told ClutchPoints. “He can only wear one hat when he talks about the Warriors, he can’t wear two.”

The outspoken Green already hosts multiple shows on different platforms during his spare time, and the things he does off the court haven't affected anything he does on the court. Winning championships and playing at a high level are still Green's priorities.

“It’s a great opportunity for him,” Kerr continued. “I worked at Turner for eight years. Wonderful people there, great company and vibe. Draymond has already proven how good he can be on TV and this will help him lay the foundation for his post-basketball playing career. I’m very confident that he’ll be able to divide his duties up well and not lose anything on the court.”

Green is currently out with a complicated injury but the Warriors are on a four-game winning streak. It's the best basketball they have played since the former Defensive Player of the Year has been out.
