The Golden State Warriors have the second-best record in the 2021-22 NBA season and a big part of that has been due to their guard play. Steph Curry is playing at an All-NBA level, Jordan Poole has showcased his scoring ability, Klay Thompson has looked as good as possible after two and a half years away from the game and they have had a revelation in former undrafted free agent Gary Payton II. On Thursday, during a surprise Indiana Pacers victory over the Warriors, Payton also surprised everyone…with a huge dunk over Pacers big man Goga Bitadze.

Obviously, Bitadze did not like what Payton had to say after the dunk, or how he said it, or both because he was willing to get ejected over it. As shown in the second video, Goga goes with the head nudge as his farewell to the game and the rest is history.

The dunk may have put Golden State up by three, but as mentioned before, the Pacers were not going to be denied on Thursday. One day after winning their first road game in almost two months over a Los Angeles Lakers team that could not afford to lose, the Pacers pulled off yet another impressive victory.

This one is even more impressive than Wednesday night's win, considering the Pacers were without their three best players, Domantas Sabonis, Caris LeVert, and Malcolm Brogdon. The Pacers will be back at it again on Saturday night when they take on the best team in the NBA, the Phoenix Suns.
