Chris Paul has been formally introduced as a member of the Golden State Warriors, and he said he feels “sorry” for teams that will have to face himself and Draymond Green specifically.

“Yeah, Draymond is… I feel sorry for the other teams that's gotta play against both of us because he's always been very vocal as I am, you know, and I, I've always thrived with guys like that,” Chris Paul said in his Warriors' introductory video.

Paul noted how interesting it will be to play with Draymond Green, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Back when Paul was on the Houston Rockets, he had a heated rivalry that included multiple matchups in the Western Conference playoffs, with the Warriors coming out on top.

Now, Paul will look to help Green, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson add to their legacies by adding another championship. It will be interesting to see how things fit together with the Warriors.

The Warriors will have to contend with teams like the Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns and other strong teams in the Western Conference.

Paul is in the latter part of his career. He has not won a championship. He was very close with the Suns in 2021, when they lost in six games to the Milwaukee Bucks after taking a 2-0 lead in the series.

The Warriors core is on the older side as well, but they still remain a very strong team. They beat a very good Sacramento Kings team in the first round last season before losing to the Lakers.
