Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors just wanted a high-five after checking into the game.

Check out the clip below as Thompson was left hanging by his teammates after a substitution.

As observed, Thomspon was not fazed. It's either that or he's used to it already. After all, there's a hodgepodge of things occurring inside the mind of an NBA player during a game. While a high-five is almost as part of the game as dribbling or shooting, some NBA players forget to return a high-five when asked for one.

Besides, the Warriors are facing the Raptors — one of the best teams in the NBA right now. Thompson even confessed that their regular season match-up might be a preview of June — the NBA Finals. Per Marcel Mutoni of SLAM, Thompson said before the game:

“Right now they’re the best, and I expect them to be there throughout the whole season,” Thompson told reporters Monday night.

“They’ve got tremendous length and so many two-way players. Obviously Kawhi (Leonard) is back and playing at an MVP level. Kyle Lowry is a great leader, as well as a bulldog out there. So it’s going to be a great test for us. Who knows, it might be a preview of June. They’ve got something really special up there in Canada right now.”
