Caitlin Clark made her highly-anticipated WNBA debut on Tuesday night for the Indiana Fever on the road against the Connecticut Sun. Clark ended up leading the Fever in scoring as she finished with a team-high 20 points. She finished 5/15 from the floor and she was 4/11 from deep. One issue that Clark had was with turnovers. She ended up finishing the game with 10 of them. The Sun didn't have any trouble with the Fever as they went on to win the game 92-71.

It certainly wasn't perfect by any means, but Caitlin Clark definitely showed some positive traits in her WNBA debut. The competition is much more difficult in the WNBA than it was for Clark in college, and it is going to be an adjustment. Clark knows that there are things that didn't go well, and she knows that there is also stuff to build on.

I thought it was physical,” Caitlin Clark said after the game, according to a tweet from Talia Goodman. “Obviously it wasn't the best start in the first half for myself, getting into foul trouble, sitting on the bench and then trying to come back into the game and get into a little bit of a flow. Obviously too many turnovers, that's not going to get the job done, but I think just a lot of things to learn from. I didn't think we played well and we cut it to six in the third quarter, so, I think that's a positive, we really did not play a good game but we were right there before it kind of got away from us at the end of the third, fourth quarter. Didn't have the greatest start, so, I think just a lot to learn from, it's the first one, there's gonna be good ones, there's gonna be bad ones. Like we said in the locker room, we play on Thursday. Learn from, move on and be ready to go.”
