New York Yankees third baseman Josh Donaldson made headlines for all the wrong reasons when he called Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson ‘Jackie' during a Saturday game. The comment emptied both the Yankees and White Sox benches, with Anderson and Donaldson needing to be separated.

After the game, Donaldson, who was suspended for one game, attempted to say that he had joked with the White Sox shortstop, who had referred to himself as “today's Jackie Robinson” in a 2019 interview. Anderson, for his part, said he was “disrespected” by the comment, with White Sox manager Tony La Russa saying it was a “racist” comment.

In an interview with Parkins and Spiegel on 670 The Score, Anderson's White Sox teammate Joe Kelly sounded off on Donaldson, who he called a ‘douche' in a fiery rant.

“The guy is a douche,” Kelly said of Donaldson during an interview on the Parkins & Spiegel Show on 670 The Score.

Kelly called the Yankees third baseman a “douche”, then went on to say this about his comment towards the White Sox shortstop.

“That’s bad,” Kelly said. “That’s horrible. That’s not tolerated in any kind of sport … Whatever it is, it wasn’t for good intentions.”

The White Sox pitcher said that Donaldson's comment towards Anderson “wasn't for good intentions.” Clearly, Kelly can be filed under the list of people who are not fans of the Yankees third baseman, who has certainly been no angel during his baseball career.

In a rant where seemingly no one was safe, Kelly also fired a shot at the MLB for suspending him for “making a silly face” while Donaldson only got one game for his comment.

One point was made very clear in this rant though. How Joe Kelly feels about Josh Donaldson.
