EA Play Live will take place on July 22. They have confirmed that there will be no Star Wars, Dragon Age, or Mass Effect games at the show. However, EA has hinted that game reveals may come next year. Possible reveals will happen at Disney's own event next year.

The Star Wars Celebration event for 2022 will take place between May 26 to 29. This is an annual event for all things about the franchise. Usually, there are a few big reveals and announcements, alongside panels and guest appearances. It is also set to be an in-person event. A new game isn't confirmed to be announced there.

There are several possibilities for games that might be revealed next year. Ubisoft Massive has yet to announce updates on its story-driven, open-world Star Wars game. This will be developed alongside Lucasfilm Games. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot describes it as the start of “a long-term collaboration” with Disney.

We could also possibly see a new Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel. This is quite likely due to its critical and financial success. In an earnings call last year, EA CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed that it is the “first title in an entirely new franchise”.

Additionally, rumors of a remake for BioWare RPG Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic have been swirling around since April. It is speculated that Aspyr Media will be developing the game.

We can also expect more updates on Zynga's Star Wars Hunters, which was announced in the February 2021 Nintendo Direct. It will be a “squad-based, online arena multiplayer game”.
