The 2022 WNBA All-Star Game was a farewell affair for Sue Bird and Sylvia Fowles, the two legends who are retiring after this season.

While Bird went scoreless and tallied six assists, Fowles stuffed the stat sheet. The Minnesota Lynx star recorded nine rebounds, seven points and six assists to help Team Wilson to a win. The 36-year-old also threw down a fastbreak dunk, exciting both the arena and Twitter.

Fowles throwing down a dunk made for an amazing moment in the legend's last ride in the WNBA. Although her team is not in playoff contention, she is getting tons of recognition for her great career. One of her fellow star centers is using her dunk to make a case for her to keep going.

After the game, fellow WNBA legend Candace Parker joked that Fowles should be given the nickname “Tom Brady” to show that she should go back on her retirement plans and return. Fowles disagreed.

Fowles has made eight WNBA All-Star Games in her spectacular career and said that this year's game was one of the best she has ever experienced. After joining the Lynx in 2015, she won the 2017 MVP and the WNBA Finals in 2015 and 2017. Prior to her eight seasons in Minnesota, she played seven seasons with the Chicago Sky and led them to the 2014 Finals.

The Lynx have a record of 8-15, remaining the only team in the Western Conference to still have a single-digit win total. Although Sylvia Fowles may not go out as a champion, she will be going out with plenty of praise after such a fantastic career.
