Michigan Wolverines defensive end Aidan Hutchinson is projected to be one of the top picks in the 2022 NFL Draft. Hutchinson spoke to the media on Wednesday and was asked to assess his feeling of how well his game will translate to the NFL. Hutchinson boldly claimed that he'll ‘light up' NFL quarterbacks. Here's why the top 2022 NFL Draft prospect feels so confidently, per NBC Sports.

“To be honest with you, I think my game is going to flourish in the NFL because I watch a lot of NFL film and I see the differences in the game just the way those quarterbacks hold onto the ball longer,” Hutchinson said. “I look at that, I’m licking my chops because you go to college you get so many RPOs, balls out like that. And you get to the quarterback, no sack, no nothing. I think when I get to the NFL, I’m gonna to light it up. I’m going to do what I do and that’s rushing the passer, getting sacks.”

Michigan Wolverines defensive end Aidan Hutchinson feels that his game will translate well to the NFL level because of “the way the quarterbacks hold the ball longer.”

An avid watcher of film, the 2022 NFL Draft prospect said he would often get to the quarterback at Michigan but wouldn't pick up the sack due to the college-style plays that were called, such as RPOs. Hutchinson feels that he's going to “light it up” in the NFL and “do what he does”, which is pick up sacks in bunches.

That's exactly what the Wolverines star did in college, as he racked up 14 sacks in his senior year at Michigan, putting Hutchinson squarely at the top of 2022 NFL Draft boards.

Former Michigan Wolverines star Aidan Hutchinson has game, but he also clearly has swagger, too. That certainly won't hurt his 2022 NFL Draft prospects.
