Wrestling icon Triple H, who currently occupies the position as the WWE Executive Vice President for Global Talent Strategy & Development, recently underwent a procedure to address a concerning heart problem. The 52-year-old, whose real name is Paul Levesque, is reportedly now recovering after the success of his procedure.

The WWE posted an official statement on Triple H's status on their website:

“Paul Levesque, a.k.a. Triple H, underwent a successful procedure last week at Yale New Haven Hospital following a cardiac event. The episode was caused by a genetic heart issue and Paul is expected to make a full recovery.”

Based solely on the statement above, it does not sound like a critical issue for the WWE legend. Then again, heart conditions are never taken lightly, and the fact that he had to undergo a procedure means that his condition is indeed serious. We're just glad that everything went off without a hitch.

Triple H is one of the most iconic figures in the history of professional wrestling. He made his mark in the WWE in the 1990s where he was one of the two original members of the legendary faction, D-Generation X, along with Shawn Michaels.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Triple H and his family during these times.
