Charles Bediako, a 4-star prospect in the 2021 recruiting class, has picked up an offer from Travis Steele and Xavier basketball, according to Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers.

The 6-11 center, who is originally from St. Catharines, Ontario, but now attends Andrews Osborne Academy, continues to draw attention on the recruiting trail from top programs around the country.

Illinois, Ohio State, Baylor, Rutgers, and TCU are among the teams that have also offered him, and there are sure to be a lot more as his recruitment continues.

Bediako is rated as the No. 2 player in Ontario and No. 40 player overall in the 2021 class, according to 247Sports.

Steele and his staff put together a top 30 class nationally and the second-best class in the Big East in their first year on the job, as Xavier will welcome in a host of newcomers entering the 2019-20 season.

The Musketeers finished 19-16 overall and 9-9 in the conference last season, and they'll try to get back to the top this season in bringing back their top four scorers – Naji Marshall, Paul Scruggs, Tyrique Jones, and Quentin Goodin.
