After an unprecedented nine days of rest, the NBA's defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers made their way to Boston Wednesday for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Celtics, resulting in a 117-104 runaway victory for the road-bound Cavs.

The champs jumped out to an early lead in last night's game and never looked back. At one point, the Cavs led by as many as 25 points.

Celtics fans were less than pleased with their team's performance and began to get a bit rowdy. In fact, Jared Weiss of CLNS Media in Boston reports that at least 15 of the Beantown faithful were ejected from the game.

Quite a few Celtics fans even showed up to TD Garden wearing a shirt that read “LeBron is a bi—“ across the front.

LeBron James dominated every player that had the unenviable task of guarding him in Game 1. When the final horn blew, James had recorded 38 points on 14-of-24 shooting, nine rebounds, seven assists, and two steals in his 42 minutes of playing time.

Boston fans are known to be extremely passionate about their sports teams, so the fact that some were ejected from Game 1 should come as no surprise. In the end, the Cavs carried the first battle of this series in convincing fashion. We'll just have to wait and see if Game 2 has a similar feel.
