Dawson Garcia, a five-star forward prospect out of the 2020 college basketball recruiting class, is down to just four schools. He's considered one of the very best players in his recruiting class.

News of the five-star senior Dawson Garcia out of Minnesota narrowing his choices to schools down to four broke on the mean streets of Twitter via Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers.

The 6-foot-11, 220-pound forward is now down to Minnesota Golden Gophers, Memphis Tigers, Marquette Golden Eagles and Indiana Hoosiers in his recruitment.

Garcia is ranked as the No. 2 player in the state, No. 3 player at his position and No. 22 player overall in the class, according to 247Sports. The Prior Lake product also holds offers from Kansas, North Carolina, Arizona, Maryland and Oregon among others. Not that those schools matter anymore.

He has taken several official visits throughout his recruitment. Those include the four schools he's favoring as well as Texas and Baylor. In talking with 247Sports, Garcia's dad said, “The goal has been to sign on the 20th or sooner.”

Only time will tell if Minnesota Golden Gophers, Memphis Tigers, Marquette Golden Eagles or Indiana Hoosiers land Dawson Garcia.
