Ohio State's quarterback Dwayne Haskins was a Heisman candidate and could end up being the first quarterback off the board in the 2019 NFL draft. Haskins looks primed for his debut in the big league and could be a difference maker as well as a star in the league for the foreseeable future.

Haskins' 50 touchdown passes, 4,831 yards, and 70 percent completion percentage are just the stats that can be measured for the talented Buckeyes quarterback. However, Haskins has proven that there are no throws he can't make and his accuracy is beyond where most prospects are heading into the draft.

There are several teams in dire need of a quarterback ahead of this season's draft and here are a few teams that Haskins could land with.

3. New York Giants

The Giants have the most promising offense out of any of the possible landing spots for Haskins, but it's also the only spot that he likely wouldn't be an instant starter. Quarterback Eli Manning will presumably play one last season before either playing elsewhere or calling it a career. Dwayne Haskins may become the starter with the Giants not long after the season starts depending on how the season plays out. If the team can make the most of Manning and give him one more full season it would give Haskins a year to gain solid knowledge and comfortability.

For arguably the most complete and NFL ready quarterback prospect, it would be a match made in heaven for the Giants not only to draft him but to give him a full season to develop. The Kansas City Chiefs did the same exact thing when they drafted Patrick Mahomes while Alex Smith was still their starting quarterback. Mahomes spent his rookie season developing and turned his sophomore season into a season to remember. He earned the 2018 MVP award and joined Peyton Manning and Tom Brady as the only quarterbacks to throw for 50 touchdown passes.

Haskins could see a similar situation with the Giants and the weapons he'll have at his disposal in New York would be a dream for any quarterback. Running back Saquon Barkley, wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., and tight end Evan Engram are young, extremely talented players that Haskins could take full advantage of. If the Giants can get Haskins a year of development under his belt, he could benefit mightily from not jumping into the league as a starter right away.

2. Jacksonville Jaguars

If the Jaguars were to draft Haskins, they would have a long-term solution beyond Nick Foles. While the Jaguars missed out on the playoffs after being a season removed from the AFC Championship Game, the biggest struggles were on the offensive side of the ball, specifically at quarterback.

Bortles showed that he can play or at least manage a game as he did in Week 2 against the New England Patriots, but the flashes of reliability and playmaking were short-lived, and now he's the backup in Los Angeles. Haskins could be the answer for the Jaguars on the offensive side of the ball and finally be the complement to the defense the team needs.

Dwayne Haskins showed fantastic accuracy as well as leadership in his lone season as a starter for the Buckeyes. Haskins is about as NFL ready as a quarterback can be so it will be interesting to see where he will be drafted and if his skill set translates to the NFL.

1. Miami Dolphins

It appears the Dolphins have reached their boiling point with quarterback Ryan Tannehill after they traded him to Tennessee. Tannehill's injury history speaks for itself and his struggles with living up to expectations have led to speculations that Miami could be moving on.

Dwayne Haskins would likely be in a situation similar to Deshaun Watson last season in regards to him sitting maybe a game or two as the backup then jumping into action. With Fitzpatrick unable to put up a complete season, it's safe to assume Haskins would take over the starting job in no time.
