The Milwaukee Bucks are coming off a season most teams would be jealous of. They posted the best regular-season record in the NBA and made the Eastern Conference Finals before being knocked out by the eventual champion Toronto Raptors.

However, this won't cut it for the Bucks. The team boasts an MVP, an All-Star forward, and one of the most well-rounded rosters in the league. This year, there will be even more pressure on its players to, at the minimum, take the Bucks back to the Conference Finals. Here are the three players who will face the most pressure in the upcoming 2019-20 season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Greek Freak is coming off the best season in his career, in which he was crowned the best player in the NBA.

Giannis isn't one for personal awards. He has publicly said he would trade the MVP for the FIBA gold medal, which he is actively fighting for with Greece. You can bet that Giannis would give up that MVP for an NBA championship. This season is his best chance to get both. Yes, he posted career highs in several categories last year, but the pressure will be on Giannis to get even better. Those who are deemed to be the most valuable are expected to achieve some playoff success. Milwaukee's championship hopes rest on Giannis's broad shoulders.

Giannis knows where he must evolve. He has to be able to become a more consistent 3-point shooter, so that defenses will have to respect his jumper and contest it. If Giannis can't improve the jumper, defenses will sag off him and gain a better chance of stopping his drives to the basket.

Khris Middleton

Middleton and the Bucks agreed to a massive five-year, $177 million contract in the offseason. Some Bucks fans have called out Milwaukee for giving this much money to a man who has been an All-Star for one year. It'll be up to Middleton to prove he can be a consistent second option on offense and spread the floor for Giannis's ferocious drives.

If Middleton can continue to put up averages of 18.3 points and 6.1 rebounds as he did last season, it will give the Bucks a shot at winning it all. Knowing how much money they invested in him, Milwaukee probably expects Middleton to become a perennial All-Star candidate.

George Hill

Hill's role on the team was magnified when the Bucks decided to let Malcolm Brogdon walk and join the Indiana Pacers. Now, the wily Hill will have to take on a bigger point guard role and is expected to run the Bucks' bench mob that devastated teams last year.

Hill had a breakout run in the 2019 playoffs and was probably the best player off the pine for Milwaukee. He was rewarded with a three-year, $29 million contract, and the Bucks are gambling that the flash in the playoffs was a glimpse of what is to come.

The 33-year old guard is running out of chances to earn a championship ring, and it's unlikely he'll play once his contract is up. We'll see if he can continue his streak of good play and come out firing for the Bucks when the new season begins.
