The Green Bay Packers took home the win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night in Aaron Rodgers' return. They were able to shut out the Seahawks, winning with a 17-0 score. It was an impressive performance by the Packers defense as they held Russell Wilson's offense scoreless.

Even with the offense struggling in the red zone, Green Bay was able to come away with the victory. Rodgers struggled to get going, but the won put them back on top of the NFC.

Here are three Packers takeaways from their dominant Week 10 win over the Seahawks.

3. AJ Dillon is emerging

Dillon had a phenomenal game for the Packers and was integral in getting the win. He took over as the number one running back after an injury to star RB Aaron Jones, and he showed out. Dillon had 21 carries for 66 yards and two touchdowns, along with two receptions for 62 yards.

While the injury to Jones is disappointing, the initial reports have the injury as an MCL sprain that will only keep him out for two to four weeks.

This gives Dillon an opportunity to have an even more significant impact on the team. He should be a vital weapon in the Packers' offense over the next few games.

2. Packers defense is top tier

The biggest struggle for the Packers over the past few years has been the defense. That has not been the case this season, as the defense is playing at an elite level. They are legitimately one of the best defenses in the league.

Green Bay finally has a tremendous defense that can lead them to a Super Bowl behind the offense. Against the Seahawks, the Packers picked off Wilson twice. They also had three sacks and were putting a ton of pressure on Wilson.

The Packers' defense is putting up these incredible numbers while missing two of their better defensive players. Pro Bowl cornerback Jaire Alexander and Pro Bowl pass rusher Za'Darius Smith have both been sidelined for a significant amount of time.

1. Packers are the NFC favorite

The Packers have been impressive since their Week 1 loss to the New Orleans Saints and are now the favorites in the NFC. It is a very talented NFC, with multiple contenders, including the Los Angeles Rams, Arizona Cardinals, and Dallas Cowboys.

While all of these teams have an argument for the top seed, Green Bay takes the mantle as the defense has stepped up. The offense has yet to put it all together with constant struggles in the red zone, which makes it even more impressive that the squad is atop the NFC.

Rodgers has proven throughout his career that he steps up when it matters most, and the offense should get rolling over the next few weeks. Against the Seahawks, he threw for 292 yards and one interception. It was not a great performance, but he has had a solid season overall.

On the season, Rodgers has thrown for 2,186 yards along with 17 touchdowns and only four interceptions. He has yet to play his best thus far, and he should get into a rhythm in the coming weeks.

The Packers now shift their focus to the Minnesota Vikings, who had a close win over the Los Angeles Chargers, 27-20. This brought them to 4-5 on the season, behind Green Bay at 8-2 in the NFC North. Although the Packers are in control of the division, it is still important to win divisional matchups.
