The Green Bay Packers' dominant win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night could prove to be a costly one. Running back Aaron Jones left the game in the third quarter after appearing to injure his right knee. He did not return to the game.

After the Packers' 17-0 win, which helped them improve to 8-2, various reports surfaced that Jones might have suffered an MCL injury and could miss an extended period. According to ESPN, however, he could return at the end of the regular season.

Jones has had a long list of injuries. In fact, he has already injured his MCL twice. But looking at the bright side if you're the Packers, the fast-rising star recovered well from both and was even named to his first Pro Bowl last season (via Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tom Silverstein).

The 26-year-old Jones, who signed a four-year, $48 million deal last March, was having a productive game for the Packers with four catches for 61 yards and seven carries for 25 yards before he was forced to exit the field.

The injury to Jones dampened the return of star quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who threw 23-of-37 for 292 yards. Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19 and also found himself in the middle of criticisms after lying about his vaccination status.

With Jones sidelined, Rodgers will look to team up with more AJ Dillon, who was instrumental in the Packers' blanking of the Seahawks. They will face the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
