Packers Week 6 Takeaways

3. Davante Adams produced solid numbers on a quiet day

He finished the game with 89 yards off of four receptions. A touchdown would have been nice, but it didn't come to fruition. Adams still led the Packers in receiving yards, making him an elite wide receiver in the NFL. Chicago struggled to slow him down and it showed.

We should see Davante Adams continue his elite play throughout the course of the season. He's Rodgers' favorite target in a pass-heavy offense, which bodes well for his outlook this year. Although it seemed like a quiet day, Adams proved to be the best wide receiver in this game.

2. Aaron Jones is one of the most consistent running backs in the NFL

Aaron Jones was the best player on the field whenever Green Bay had the ball. He finished the day with 110 total yards and one touchdown. He continuously burned the Bears and allowed the Packers to maintain possession. It was an impressive performance from the Pack-Attacks' star running back.

This is something we're likely to see throughout the entire year. Jones excels as an extra receiver out of the backfield. Rodgers targeted Jones underneath, which allowed the Packers to chip away at the Bears' defense. As long as Aaron Jones is on the field, Green Bay can beat anybody.

1. Aaron Rodgers does in fact own the Chicago Bears

Bears fans might disagree, but Aaron Rodgers has been torching Chicago his entire career. He didn't light up the field like we're used to seeing, but Rodgers was efficient and took control of the game. The Bears couldn't do much against Green Bay, as Rodgers ended the day with 195 passing yards and two touchdowns, along with an additional rushing touchdown.

His 17 completions off of 23 attempts provided the Packers with an efficient passing attack. Rodgers didn't turn the ball over either, which allowed Green Bay to control the clock. Although it was a rocky offseason for this franchise, Aaron Rodgers is playing some of his best football right now. For that reason, Green bay is a legitimate Super Bowl contender in the NFC.
