The Miami Dolphins have had another interesting season in South Beach. It's going to be tough for the Dolphins to make the NFL Playoffs but if they can win the remainder of their games, they still have a good chance.

The losses against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons could very well come back to haunt the Dolphins and ruin their chances.

But let's take a look at three reasons the Dolphins can still make the postseason.

3. The Bills are showing they aren't that good

The Buffalo Bills are a good football team, but they have not shown that as of late. They have some embarrassing losses including a 41-15 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, and a 9-6 loss to the Jaguars.

The Bills don't exactly have an easy remaining schedule and the Dolphins need to hope that Buffalo continues playing as poorly as of late.

2. Patriots can explode at any moment

The New England Patriots have looked great the past few weeks. There's no denying that. When a team is led by a young quarterback, it can explode at any moment and that's what the Dolphins are going to need to happen with the Patriots.

The Patriots have a tough schedule coming up including the Tennessee Titans, Bills, Colts, and the Dolphins in the last week.

1. Dolphins' remaining schedule

The remaining schedule is very favorable for the Dolphins. They're on a three-game winning streak, including squeezing out a tough one against a very good Baltimore Ravens team led by Lamar Jackson where the defense only gave up 10 points.

When looking at the rest of the Dolphins' schedule, there is a chance that they can at least win four of those games and if they play the way that they are capable of, they can even win six assignments.

The Dolphins' remaining games are against the Carolina Panthers, New York Giants, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, Titans, and the Patriots. Their next three games have to be all wins since the Dolphins are significantly better than the opponents.

The Panthers are led by Cam Newton and are 5-6 on the season. There's no excuse for the Dolphins to lose at home. The Giants have played like one of the worst teams in football and there's no excuse for the Dolphins to allow them to come into South Beach and walk away with the win. The Giants have questions all throughout their roster and the Dolphins desperately need to take advantage of that in Week 13.

The Dolphins, meanwhile, have already beaten the Jets and they need to do so again in Week 14. The Dolphins have a history sometimes of allowing teams in the AFC East to split with them. But they are too good of a team to allow the Jets to beat them this season.

The remaining games after those three outings are going to be tough for the Dolphins. Playing against the Saints on the road is never an easy task. The Dolphins have much more talent on the roster than the Saints and they need to come into NOLA and take care of business.

The Titans are another good squad but they do have weeks where they looked like an average team. They had losses against the Jets and Houston Texans. Miami is significantly better than both of those teams and the team needs to replicate what the Jets and Texans did to walk away with a win in Tennessee.

The Dolphins' game against the Patriots is going to be the biggest game of the club this season. This is going to be the game that either gets the Dolphins into the NFL Playoffs by winning the AFC East or losing and not making the postseason for another year. Luckily for them, they won't have to travel to the cold and play in New England. This is the perfect opportunity for Miami to nail a win against the Patriots.

There's a lot of work to be done and asking the Dolphins to win the next six games is definitely a tough task. They have shown glimpses of how good they can be, and if they want to make the NFL Playoffs, they're going to need to consistently play their best for the remainder of the season.

Miami has a lot of young talent and regardless of whether they make the playoffs or not, the future is bright. When talking about an organization such as the Miami Dolphins, anything short of a playoff spot is considered a failure. The Dolphins have some work to do this offseason and then they need to address some issues during the off season.
