The Green Bay Packers selected Rashan Gary with the 12th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. The defensive end has been considered one of the best prospects in this year's draft class for a long time.

However, that doesn't mean everyone knows all there is to know about the Michigan star.

Of course, most people know about the on-field prowess. He's shown loads of potential as a pass rusher for years – even before his College days.

There are some things that you don't see on the field that make him an even more intriguing prospect though.

Here are three things to know about the Green Bay Packers rookie pass rusher.

3. Sports Agent

Rashan Gary, Packers

Rashan Gary has his own Sports Agency – aptly named “Rashan Gary Sports”. Hey, subtlety gets you nowhere.

At first glance, this might not seem like much. He's got a side hustle, right? However, this bodes well for his playing career.

Sure, you could argue that he's already got something to fall back on. I look at is as someone who's extremely hard-working. That's not to say everyone without agencies isn't hard-working. It's just showcasing that Gary is clearly a motivated individual.

If you're a fan of the Green Bay Packers, it should excite you to know that he clearly wants to be the best version of himself that he can be.

And when Gary reaches that peak, who knows, maybe he'll be representing himself.

2. Unanimous Top Prospect

It's no secret that Rashan Gary was highly-touted coming out of Michigan. You don't go 12th overall by accident.

It's also no secret that he was highly-touted entering Michigan either. What might be a little more surprising though, is just how big he truly was. Gary was actually the unanimous top prospect in the Nation. ESPN, Rivals, Scout and 247 Sports all had Gary as their number one recruit in the 2016 class.

To put into perspective how rare this is, he joins Robert Nkemdiche (2013) and Jadeveon Clowney (2011) as the only unanimous number one recruits amongst all four rankings. No one's done it since Gary in 2016.

This showcases just how much potential he has. His size and strength, mixed with incredible speed and athleticism makes him an absolute menace.

If Gary can put it all together – everyone expects massive things from him.

1. Accolades

Rashan Gary, Packers

Being one of the few unanimous number one recruits in history is a pretty amazing accolade. It's not the only one that Rashan Gary has though.

In 2016 he tied the Under Armor All-America Game record with three sacks. That goes with being a 2015 All American, as well as USA Today's Defensive Player of the Year and 247 Sports Composite National Player of the Year.

In 2017 and 2018 Gary was First Team All-Big Ten, and in 2018 was 247 Sports top “Freak”.

You could argue his numbers in College (especially his last season, recording 3.5 sacks) didn't live up to the hype. However, Gary is a well-rounded player with a ridiculous amount of achievements under his belt already.

He's shown plenty of potential that a lot of people believe in and has backed it up for the most part. The Green Bay Packers got an absolute monster with the 12th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft in Rashan Gary.

That's something you probably already knew though.
