Deebo Samuel and Aaron Donald have some beef against each other. In 2020, Donald, the Los Angeles Rams star defensive tackle admitted that he hadn't heard about the San Francisco 49ers' star receiver. Since then, Samuel has often had Donald and the Rams' number, as he's dominated every matchup against them.

Ahead of a crucial matchup against the Rams, Deebo Samuel commented on his relationship with Aaron Donald. The 49ers star receiver was brutally honest about the star defensive tackle, saying: (via Yahoo! Sports)

“I don't know the guy… Obviously, he don't know who I am, which he should. I don't know, I just don't walk up to people and be like, ‘Hey, how you doing? I'm Deebo.' I'm not that type of guy or whatever… He's an opponent, so I don't know why I would want to have a conversation with the guy. I just don't. Not something I do.”

Ever since Samuel was drafted by the 49ers three years ago, the team has always seemed to do well against the Rams. Their star wide receiver has a lot to do with that success: in five games against Los Angeles, Samuel has 29 receptions for 345 yards, along with 10 carries for 59 yards on the ground. All of that leads to a perfect 5-o record for Deebo against Donald and the Rams.

They'll need Samuel to channel more of this energy on Sunday. The 49ers clinch the final NFC wild card spot with a win over the Rams in Week 18, but it's going to be an uphill battle for them. They could be without Jimmy Garoppolo in their final regular-season game, or a limited version of him. Can Samuel pull out another domination of the Rams on Sunday? Let's find out.
