Jimmy Garoppolo's physical condition is a major talking point heading to the San Francisco 49ers' NFC title game against the Los Angeles Rams. On Friday, however, he eased all those concerns.

The 49ers QB is currently dealing with a couple of injuries, a right thumb issue that has been bothering him since the December holidays and a shoulder sprain he sustained during their divisional round showdown with the Green Bay Packers. Fortunately for the team, it seems Garoppolo is doing better compared to previous weeks.

“It feels great,” Garoppolo said about his shoulder, per David Bonilla of 49ers WebZone. “Yeah, arm's ready to roll.”

While Garoppolo did not elaborate on recent reports that he'll need surgery to repair his thumb injury, he mentioned that it is holding up well.

“I think we'll approach that after the season a little more,” Garoppolo said on his thumb issue, hinting that there are no plans yet on a possible surger. “But yeah, it's holding up for right now. It'll be alright.”

While the 49ers were able to reach the Conference Championship, beating the Dallas Cowboys and Packers in the process, Jimmy Garoppolo has been far from perfect in those games. That is the reason why fans  are concerned about him and his performance aa they face the red-hot Rams.

It remains to be seen how Garoppolo will perform come Sunday, but the 49ers can only believe and cheer for the team since they don't have a lot of choice at QB, especially with Trey Lance clearly not yet ready for the big stage.
