A few notable players in the NFL have been revealed to have tested positive for the coronavirus in recent months. On Friday, it was reported that a player from the San Francisco 49ers tested positive for the COVID-19, per NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

A group of players from the 49ers recently traveled to Nashville, Tennessee to train. While they were in Nashville, one of the players on the team got tested for the coronavirus and his test came out positive.

Furthermore, all of the players that went to Nashville were on the offensive side of the ball. Provided that, that limits the list of players that could suddenly be carrying the COVID-19 disease. That means that either Jimmy Garoppolo or George Kittle, who both attended, could be the anonymous player to test positive.

Besides Garoppolo and Kittle, all of the skill position players made the trip to Nashville. Therefore, the entire group of players that went to Nashville is getting tested to make sure they didn't contract the disease.

Aside from one of the players testing positive for COVID-19, Deebo Samuel and Richie James got injured while working out this offseason. Samuel suffered a broken foot on Tuesday during a training session in Nashville. The second-year wideout has since undergone surgery.

On the other hand, James broke his wrist while training this offseason. James is expected to miss two months, putting the 49ers down two wide receivers this offseason. Both Samuel and James could be returning before the regular season begins. It's safe to say that Kyle Shanahan is having a rough week this week.
