San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has made significant strides, according to tight end George Kittle. In what aspect, you may ask? Texting.

During a Q&A at Nike Football's Instagram, Kittle admitted that Jimmy G is replying to him now.

“Jimmy G has text me back. Actually, it’s really escalating, and the amount of messages I get now is at an all-time high. And I'm going to do my best to manage and reply to each one of those messages,” the 49ers' star TE shared.

Based on what Kittle said on the latter part, it seems like Garoppolo's the one actively texting now, no?

To recall, George Kittle previously called out Jimmy Garoppolo for his “bad communication” skills with him–and probably the rest of the 49ers.

“He is the worst texter of all time,” Kittle said. “I'm telling you, he leaves me on ‘Read' all the time. I'll be like ‘Hey Jimmy, I've got a question. Maybe on this play, should I run my route like this?' No Response. ‘Jimmy, want to go to a movie?' No response. And then next day he's like ‘Yeah, I got your text. I just didn't respond.' Thanks, Jim. That's awesome. So yeah, he's a bad texter. Bad communication.”

The 49ers are having a disappointing 2020 campaign thus far with a 4-5 record. Jimmy G has struggled with injuries and poor play throughout the campaign.

There have also been multiple reports about the uncertainty of Garoppolo's future with the 49ers, given that his contract isn't guaranteed after this season.

Nonetheless, what's guaranteed is that Jimmy Garoppolo is, at the very least, making improvements in his off-court communication with George Kittle.
