Since returning to the lineup from health and safety protocols, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid has been a man possessed. Every night, he has put the team on his back and put them in a position to win.

Whether it's hitting shots in the clutch or anchoring the defense, Embiid continues to do whatever it takes.
Monday's matchup with the Rockets was the latest installment of the incredible run the All-Star center is on right now. He notched a triple-double for just the third time in his career, posting a stat line of 31 points, 15 rebounds, and ten assists.

The league has begun to marvel at what Embiid has done in recent weeks, but not the 76ers. After their blowout win over Houston, Furkan Korkmaz said he is not surprised by what his teammate has done. Having been around Embiid for so long now, Korkmaz knows what a transcendent talent he is.

“Right now, I'm not surprised at anything Joel [Embiid] does on the floor because he has really taken a huge step. He plays on a different level. I don't even know how to describe it or how to explain his game because he can do everything right now. It's not just post-ups, not just face-ups. He has a really good package. This year, he has started to read the game much better,” said Korkmaz.

Embiid is reminding everyone why he is one of the league's most dominant forces. Over his last ten games, he is averaging 30.7 PPG, 10.9 RPG, 4.2 APG, 1.4 SPG, and 1.4 BPG. Along with these incredible numbers, Embiid is also shooting the ball with great efficiency. In that same stretch, he is shooting 52.7% from the floor, 41.2% from three, and 87.5% from the free-throw line.

Not only is Embiid taking his game to new heights, but it is finally starting to translate to wins for the 76ers as well. They are now winners of their last four games, slowly climbing the Eastern Conference standings in the process. Their 20-16 record lands them in the sixth seed currently, and only five and a half games out of the top spot.

This run is the most dominant stretch of games Embiid has put together in his career. If the Sixers can continue to string wins together, it should vault their franchise cornerstone back into the MVP conversation.

Embiid has emphasized growing as a leader in recent years, and his recent play is a testament to that. He continues to leave it all out there on a nightly basis to get the 76ers' season back on track. The example Embiid has set has been a motivator for the rest of the locker room as they look to aid him.

Even with all the drama going on behind the scenes, Joel Embiid refuses to let this season go off the rails. He has sustained an elite level of play in recent weeks and has shown no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
