Even though Andy Dalton led the Chicago Bears to a big 29-3 win over the New York Giants in Week 17, it appears Matt Nagy is planning to go with Justin Fields at quarterback for the season finale against the Minnesota Vikings, if he's healthy enough.

Via Bears insider Adam Hoge:

Fields haven't played since December 20th because of an ankle injury and he was limited in practice last week up until the Giants game. As Nagy said, it will simply come down to how the injury feels this week. The rookie's first season in the league has definitely been full of mixed results. He's posted a 58.9% completion rate, thrown for seven touchdowns, and been picked off 10 times. The Bears' poor defensive line isn't really doing Fields' body any favors, getting sacked a total of 36 times.

Chicago did grab a victory on Sunday, but Dalton didn't exactly have a huge game. he completed only 18 of 35 passes for 173 yards and a lone touchdown. Running back David Montgomery had two TDs on his own.

At 6-10, the Bears will be looking to finish the season on a high note in what could very well be Nagy's last game in charge of the organization. It's highly expected he will be relieved of his duties in the offseason. Let's hope Fields can suit up.
