The Chicago Bears have had a roller coaster ride of an offseason as it pertains to the quarterback position.

It started with trade rumors of a Russell Wilson potential deal between the Seahawks and Bears. It ended up not coming to fruition and Chicago signed Andy Dalton, which put Bears fans into a frenzy. on NFL Draft night, Chicago traded up to draft Justin Fields, the gunslinger out of Ohio State. At voluntary workouts, a mic picked up a conversation between Fields and one of his coaches, and the newest Bears quarterback has already started his hate for the Packers.

Who doesn't love a good old-fashioned NFL rivalry that starts up in June? It's even better that it came from the rookie quarterback who's speaking his truth.

Fields is talking about his former Buckeyes teammate, Josh Myers, who was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Myers was Fields' center at Ohio State and both were drafted early to division rivals.

While it's a shame Myers and Fields won't be on the field at the same time during their careers, it's hilarious of Fields to note that Myers was drafted to the wrong team.

The NFC North is a wildly intriguing division at the present time for one big reason: the Aaron Rodgers fiasco.

If Rodgers keeps holding on to his grudge with Green Bay's front office, the Bears and Vikings could both have a solid shot at the division title. If Rodgers sets aside his displeasures with the front office, Green Bay figures to be the favorites again to win the NFC North.

The vibes are good with the Bears during this offseason and a large part of that is because of Fields. Bears fans everywhere are hoping they have finally found their franchise quarterback.
