New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is no stranger to Super Bowl appearances. He has won two Super Bowl titles as the defensive coordinator of the New York Giants in the 1980s and five more as the mentor of the Pats. With that kind of winning experience, Belichick knows how to prepare his team for a big game, and so far, he thinks the Patriots are a hundred percent ready for their showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday, per Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk.

“I think they’ve been focused, no question,” coach Bill Belichick said in the pool report released by the league. “There are things that are different about this game, but we’ve managed those and we’ve tried to focus on what we need to do and I think the attention level has been good.
Despite his extensive winning experience in the NFL, Belichick is not taking anything for granted. He knows full well how hard it is to reach the grand stage of football, let alone win it all.

“It’s hard to win in this league. It’s very competitive. I think we’ll be ready to go and we’ll go out there and do the best we can.”

Apart from the Patriots’ focus, Belichick should also be happy at the fact that the team has zero players on their final injury report. Cornerback and Super Bowl hero Malcolm Butler and tight end Rob Gronkowski are expected to be on the field against the Eagles after dealing with respective ailments.

The Pats are currently favored by 4.5 points to win Super Bowl LII.
