For his stellar performance thus far in the 2020 NFL season, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen got an apology from a critic.

Right after the Bills selected Allen as their seventh overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, critics and analysts slammed the team for their choice.  One of the harshest critics was Sam Monson of Pro Football Focus who has sent out a couple of stabs at Allen via Twitter. Peep some of his sharp criticisms of Allen below.

In the tweet below, Monson sat down with Steve Palazzolo where they essentially downplayed Josh Allen's potential. Yes, Allen has a strong arm. But they believe that his pass inaccuracy is a major liability and it will haunt him for the rest of his career.

But in the first four weeks of the 2020 NFL season, Allen has been nothing but stellar and has even become a legitimate MVP candidate. He has guided the Bills to a strong 4-0 start. His statistics reveal that the 24-year-old has completed over 70 percent of his passes for 1,326 yards, 12 touchdowns, and one interception. He also has three touchdowns on the ground.

Monson saw this develop right before his very own eyes. And instead of nitpicking whatever weakness that Allen may have, Monson did the right thing: issue an apology. And he did it not just by saying “sorry” to Allen. He actually filled out an apology form that has been making rounds online.

And for those who have hurled hate at Allen, it's never too late to fill out that form and apologize.
