Heading into their wild card round matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Buffalo Bills are far from certain about the availability of All-Pro running back LeSean McCoy.

The 29-year-old is dealing with an ankle injury that he suffered in the season finale win over the Miami Dolphins. He has progressed enough to get out of his walking boot, but he still isn't completely confident he will play if he can't make cuts while running with the ball, according to Mike Rodak of ESPN.

“I want to be able to cut well enough to where I don’t have a lot of pain cutting,” McCoy said. “I just want to be close, or the best as far as 100 percent as I can get. The type of game like this, you got to lay it all on the line. If I can’t get 100 percent, as long as I’m out there, and I can work effective enough, I’ll do it. We’ll just see.”

The Bills will officially designate McCoy on the injury report on Friday, likely with the questionable tag. It was previously reported that he's a game-time decision for the contest, and there's no reason to think that will change at this point.

McCoy was a huge part of the Bills offense this season, finishing fourth in the league with 1,138 rushing yards with six touchdowns while hauling in 59 catches for 588 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. If he is unable to give it a go, Buffalo will go with Mike Tolbert, Marcus Murphy, and possibly even quarterback Tyrod Taylor in the running game.

The Bills have a tough matchup on tap for the wild card game on Sunday against arguably the top defense in the league.
