Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor managed to get his job back in just enough time to get injured to the point that he needed to be carted off the field on Sunday.

In the team's game against the New England Patriots, Tyrod Taylor was hurt on the first play of the game, banging his knee, getting up slowly, and limping. Oddly enough, he led the team down to the goal line, but was eventually intercepted.

CBS continued to show Taylor in pain here and there, but he looked good for most of the rest of the game.

However, late in the game, with the Bills down big, the gunslinger appeared in obvious pain. It was so bad that he had to be literally carted off the field by medical professionals.

Nathan Peterman, the dude who hurled eleventy-billion interceptions in his first ever NFL start, would replace Taylor.

At the time of this writing, there is no update about the severity of the injury.

The cynic in me, as well as other jaded fans, believes that the Bills are secretly OK with this. Not exactly happy that Taylor got hurt, but thrilled that they could use this as an excuse to be done with the era of Tyrod.
