This summer has not had its shortage of blockbuster trades that sent shockwaves around the league. A number of teams decided to pull the trigger in bringing some of the NBA’s best players to their fold, in an attempt to compete better this coming season.

That’s not the case for all franchises though, as there were also some that opted to stay put instead, and just add one or two role players or rookies, trying to be patient enough to make moves in the coming offseasons. One of them is the Portland Trail Blazers, who will continue to be led by Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum, together with their supporting cast. However, that does not mean Dame Dolla cannot let everyone know who he wants to see the most to take his talents to their team.

Davis is widely considered one of the best big men in the league today, for his ability to score in different ways, as well as defend multiple positions. Since entering the NBA back in 2012, the former Kentucky Wildcat has established himself as an excellent two-way player, and has been named an All-Star four times, and is a two-time All-NBA First Team member as well.

It remains to be seen if Lillard’s wish will come true once Davis becomes a free agent or made available for trade by the New Orleans Pelicans. However, one thing that can be expected is that the Blazers will have a lot of competition in landing him, as he is a franchise-changer, who many believe can instantly turn a team into a contender with his addition.
