Portland Trail Blazers star point guard Damian Lillard says he has a significant role in LeBron James' Space Jam 2.

Lillard says he had to shave off his beard and had a week of 15-hour shoots. The Blazers guard, Golden State Warriors All-Star Klay Thompson and Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis are the NBA players joining LeBron in Space Jam 2.

Space Jam 2 has already begun production. It's expected to be released next summer. Blazers fans are excited to see Damian Lillard's acting skills, although Lillard probably won't be able to top his skills on the basketball court in the film industry.

The Blazers signed Lillard to a lucrative five-year, $196 million extension this summer. The four-time All-Star is coming off a season in which he averaged 25.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 6.9 assists during the regular season. As all superstars do, Lillard took his game to another level in the 2019 playoffs. The Blazers reached the Western Conference Finals, while Lillard put up 26.9 points in 16 games. Portland got swept by the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals, but it was still a magical season for Lillard and the Blazers.

NBA fans can't wait for Space Jam 2 to come out. It has all the makings of being a really good movie, just like the first one with Michael Jordan.
