After his 61-point outing against the Dallas Mavericks, Portland Trail Blazers superstar point guard Damian Lillard talked about why he's never wanted to leave the club and form a “super team” somewhere else.

Damian Lillard is very comfortable with the Blazers and believes he can win a championship in Portland.

It doesn't look like Lillard is ever going to request a trade from the Blazers, so the only way he doesn't finish his NBA career in Portland is if the franchise makes a colossal mistake and trades the star guard out of Weber State.

The Blazers don't get big-time free agents in free agency. In Lillard, they have a bonafide top-10 player and maybe the second-best point guard in the game behind only two-time MVP Stephen Curry. Ownership should count its blessings every day that Lillard fell into their laps in 2012.

Lillard and the Blazers have Wednesday off before taking on the Brooklyn Nets in the final seeding game. Outside of Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker, there isn't a hotter player on the planet right now than Lillard.

Dame will enter Thursday's game averaging 37.0 points per game in the Walt Disney bubble. He could possibly steal the bubble MVP Award from Booker if he goes for another 50 or 60-point game against the Nets.
