The Portland Trail Blazers face the Charlotte Hornets on Friday, and Blazers star point guard Damian Lillard will play despite dealing with a left elbow injury he suffered on Wednesday against the Chicago Bulls.
Lillard was seen grabbing his left elbow as he checked out of the game on Wednesday. The Blazers listed the three-time All-Star as questionable for Friday's game, but they have now upgraded him to available to play:

Portland enters Friday with a record of 25-17, good for fourth place in the Western Conference standings. The Blazers are looking to win their fourth straight game.
It's going to be a fun point guard matchup in Portland. Lillard will be going up against Hornets All-Star guard Kemba Walker, who is averaging 25.1 points per game on the year. Charlotte enters this game with a record of 19-21. They are in eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings.
Damian Lillard has had good success against the Hornets during his career. The 28-year-old is averaging 22.3 points in 12 games versus Charlotte.
