Blazers’ Damian Lillard will play vs. Hornets despite elbow injury
The Portland Trail Blazers face the Charlotte Hornets on Friday, and Blazers star point guard Damian Lillard will play despite dealing with a left elbow injury he suffered on Wednesday against the Chicago Bulls.
Lillard was seen grabbing his left elbow as he checked out of the game on Wednesday. The Blazers listed the three-time All-Star as questionable for Friday’s game, but they have now upgraded him to available to play:

In 42 games this season, Damian Lillard is averaging 25.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game. The explosive scorer is shooting 44.4 percent from the field, 38.6 percent from beyond the arc and 89.7 percent from the free-throw line.
Portland enters Friday with a record of 25-17, good for fourth place in the Western Conference standings. The Blazers are looking to win their fourth straight game.
