The Denver Broncos witnessed two of their offensive players in Emmanuel Sanders and Courtland Sutton get into during practice on Monday. Despite the serious nature of the situation, Joe Flacco made light of the situation.

When Flacco was asked about getting into fights, the Broncos quarterback said he's never gotten into a fight. Flacco was quick to point out that he is the one guy who runs away once a fight breaks out. Hopefully, for any of the Broncos players, they don't need Flacco to stand up for them in a scuffle anytime soon.

The dispute between Sanders and Sutton led to shoving and shouting from the two receivers. After the commotion between the two, Flacco was one of the players who spoke to the wide receivers to calm them down. After all, Flacco has seen plenty of skirmishes in training camp in his 11 seasons in the NFL.

On Tuesday, there doesn't seem to be any bad blood between the two receivers. Both Sanders and Sutton spoke to the media together to address the situation. Vic Fangio also declared the situation as “put to bed” and a “dead issue”.

Earlier this offseason, Denver traded for Flacco from the Baltimore Ravens. Denver is hoping he can be the solution to the Broncos quarterback issue in recent seasons. Since Peyton Manning retired in 2015, John Elway has been incapable of finding a serviceable starter under center.

Along with his big arm, Flacco brings leadership to this Broncos team.

As anyone knows, Flacco tends to provide humor at times—including after two of his teammates were involved in a dust-up.
