The Denver Broncos will take the field Thursday night against the Arizona Cardinals on the road looking to snap a four-game skid. However, they have a few players who won’t be able to help them achieve that goal.

According to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk, offensive linemen Ronald Leary and Jared Veldheer will be sidelined for the Cardinals game, though, it’s hardly a surprise that they will not be suiting up for the contest. Leary suffered a serious Achilles injury in last week’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams, one that essentially wipes out his availability for the rest of the season. Veldheer, on the other hand, hasn’t seen action over the last two weeks due to a knee issue.

Apart from Leary and Veldheer, the Broncos will also be missing the services of linebacker Shane Ray, who’s dealing with injuries to his ankle and wrist.

The Broncos are in dire need of a victory, as they have greatly fallen behind the race to the top of the AFC West division after going through four winless weeks.

Thursday’s matchup with the Cardinals presents a tasty opportunity for Denver to get back in the win column, as Arizona has also struggled mightily this year. However, the Broncos are only 1-9 in their last 10 games away from Denver.
