The Denver Broncos were rolling. They entered Sunday's bout with the Kansas City Chiefs as a confident team, having won two in a row — against the Los Angeles Chargers and Houston Texans — with rookie Drew Lock as their starting quarterback.

Then, on a snowy Missouri day, they came back to earth. In the elements, the Chiefs soundly defeated the Broncos, 23-3. Denver's superstar pass-rusher Von Miller wasn't too happy after the loss.

Said Miller after the loss, via Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic:

“I just want to be competitive even one game. I don't want to think about playoffs or division games. I don't want to think about that. I just want to get competitive in this game, the game we got coming up next, the game we're playing right now, this play, this half. This quarter. I just want to be competitive in what we're doing right now. I don't want to think about down the road. Let's just get one. Let's just get one play, one win. It's just been slipping away from us for way too long.”

He went on to continue to say:

“I'm here. I really don't have the answers but I tried. We have tried. Everything from team-bonding, coming in early, working hard at practice, film… I really don't know. Emotions get high after a game but I'm lost for words.”

It's fair to say that Miller is frustrated with the Broncos despite winning the past two. They have two more games to get end the season on a positive note.
