With Week 1 of the 2020 regular season now less than a week away, Denver Broncos fans were just starting to get their hopes up as the AFC West has continued its rise throughout the offseason. However, it now appears as though the Broncos could very well be without All-Pro pass rusher Von Miller for the entire 2020 campaign, according to Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL.com.

According to the report from Rapoport and Garafolo, Miller suffered a lower-leg injury at practice on Tuesday while such a setback seems to be quite severe. Although Von Miller still needs to undergo a MRI in order to properly diagnose the damage, the veteran pass rusher is currently expected to miss the entire 2020 season.

Obviously this would be a massive loss for a Denver team—and defense—that is on a major upswing as the Broncos are even scheduled to take on the Tennessee Titans on “Monday Night Football” in Week 1. Granted this game won't take place on primetime as it is the second “Monday Night Football” matchup in Week 1 of two games, many throughout the NFL landscape were excited to see how the Broncos would matchup against another impressive team in the Titans, who also have high aspirations this time around.

It is also worth noting that the Broncos could be severely hobbled along the defensive front against the Titans as Denver might only have another pass rusher in Bradley Chubb, who is attempting to come back from an injury of his own, in a limited role to begin the season.
