The Cleveland Browns are in the midst of rebuilding their staff as they try to find the right people to lead the franchise back to winning ways. Andrew Berry and Wade Phillips are both considered options to come to Cleveland and help turn around a team that took two steps back during the lone year Freddie Kitchens was in charge.

Dustin Fox of ESPN reported that the two are favorites to join the team and bolster the Browns for the coming season.

Eagles VP of Football Operations Berry is considered the favorite to replace John Dorsey, who left the GM role at the end of last season. He was also getting interest from the Carolina Panthers to be their Executive Vice President of Football Operations, but the Browns get priority to interview him. The GM post promises control over how the roster will look in the offseason.

Meanwhile, Phillips is looking for a new place to call home. His contract with the Los Angeles Rams wasn't renewed after the end of the Rams' season, and he's more than open to join a team that's willing to take him in. The Browns desperately need a capable defensive mind to take control of their defense, and Phillips has more than enough of what it takes to get him the defensive coordinator position under Kevin Stefanski.

Stefanski will be the latest man in the hot seat, and he has a lot on his plate. He has talented, but disgruntled players, and he will have to do a lot of work to ensure they get back to winning ways. He sounds positive about the opportunity to lead the Browns.

“It's very exciting obviously for me and my family,” Stefanski said, via the Cleveland Browns. “We're really looking forward to moving out here and getting situated in Cleveland and the adventure of it all. From my professional level, I just could not be more eager to get to work with this group. I think we have some really good players here.”

Browns fans hope for better things with the new staff coming in.
