The Cleveland Browns are in a close game against the Seattle Seahawks but are closely monitoring the situation with Baker Mayfield. According to Adam Schefter, Mayfield was headed to the locker room after an apparent injury versus the Seahawks.

It remains to be seen what the injury is for the second-year quarterback, but he came back into the game roughly eight real-time minutes after he went to the locker room.

Prior to going to the locker room, Cleveland held a 20-18 lead over Seattle in the third quarter. Mayfield had two touchdowns and two interceptions in the game.

Luckily for the Browns, Mayfield seems to be in good enough shape to strap on his helmet and lead the offense again. If Mayfield would've been sidelined, Garrett Gilbert would have been forced to replace him under center.

Regardless of your thoughts on the charismatic signal-caller, losing him would be detrimental to the Browns season. His struggles are visible this season but the offense would be in even worse shape without him.

Before Week 6, Baker Mayfield had thrown for 1,247 yards, four touchdowns, and a league-high eight interceptions. Due to his playmaking ability, the Browns are in a decent position to possibly take down the 4-1 Seahawks on Sunday.

For the time being, Baker Mayfield is playing with a noticeable limp but he remains in the game for Cleveland. There hasn't been any official diagnosis for the young gunslinger but it appears as if the injury has something to do with his lower leg.

We will continue to monitor his situation and provide updates as information comes out.
