Good news for the Cleveland Browns (4-3): running back Nick Chubb looks on track to face the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-3) in the crucial AFC North clash at FirstEnergy Stadium on Sunday.

According to Adam Caplan of SiriusXM, Chubb, who has missed the Browns' past two games with a calf strain, was a full participant in practice on Friday. He has no injury designation for Week 8.

Earlier in the week, Chubb was optimistic about his chances to face Pittsburgh. Evidently, he had reasons to be hopeful.

Prior to his injury — and thanks in part to Cleveland's elite offensive line — Chubb had been running wild on opponents. Through the first five games of the 2020 season, the Pro Bowl tailback ran for at least 80 yards in every game, including a 21-carry, 161-yard performance vs. the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 5.

Overall, Chubb has rushed for 523 yards on 90 carries (5.8 yards per carry) and four touchdowns this season.

His backup, Kareem Hunt, remains out with a strained right calf he suffered in the team's Week 6 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

On Thursday Night Football in Week 7, third-stringer D'Ernest Johnson picked up the slack. Johnson rushed for a career-high 146 yards on 22 carries in Cleveland's 17-14 victory over the Denver Broncos.

The Browns rank 1st in the NFL in rushing yards per game (170.4). The Pittsburgh defense ranks 12th in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game (107.7).

Adjust your fantasy lineups accordingly.
